This William Morris tapestry is entitled The Quest for the Holy Grail - Left panel.This tapestry was designed by Edward Burne-Jones and woven by Morris & Co. in 1895-96 and is one of six panels illustrating the story of The Holy Grail.
It represents the arming and the departure of the knights of the Round Table, amongst which are Sir Bors, Sir Percival and Sir Galahad.
The original is exposed in the Birmingham Museum. This tapestry is a close up of the left side of the Holy Grail tapestry. The detail is incredible, this piece makes a great impact where ever it's hung.
This tapestry comes fully lined and finished with a tapestry rod sleeve so you can hang it easily.
