This tapestry is inspired by an original from a 15th Century series that is on display in the Cluny Museum in Paris.

It is part of six original tapestries from the Lady with Unicorn Series. The tapestry depicts the sense of hearing with a graceful lady surrounded by various animals including a unicorn and a lion, representing purity and strength. This tapestry is also known as Lady with Organ.

The background is the famous mille fleurs (thousand flowers) which is not only beautiful, but also works to separate the foreground figures from the red background.

This tapestry is imported from Belgium. Belgian tapestries are known for their intricate weaving and delicate design. They are wonderful pieces that stand out in any room.
