Originally woven in the late 1300's, this tapestry was based off of the work of Hennequin of Bruges.The original weaving was done by Nicolas Bataille. The design is beautiful and full of color and life. Believe it or not, this was actually a cartoon made for Duke Louis the First of Anjou. Cartoons have changed over the years, but the principle remains the same: color and style.
