This tapestry was inspired by a XVI century allegorical scene entitled the "Sacrifice to Cybele".
The painter was Jan Brueghel de Velours (1568-1625). Cybele, the Goddess of Earth, attended by cherubs on a pastoral background is being offered gifts by the nymphs.This tapestry is imported from Belgium. Belgian tapestries are much sought after pieces worldwide because of their fantastic weaving and design.
This wall tapestry comes backed with lining and a tunnel so you can hang it easily.
