The red horseman is Emperor Charles V (1500-1558), ruler of the Holy Roman Empire.
On the background to the left is the Imperial Palace, set on fire in 1731 and the town hall. This is a tapestry steeped in history, it is a great piece to add to your collection.
This tapestry comes fully lined and finished with tapestry rod sleeve so you can hang it easily.
