The palace at Versailles was Louis XIV palace.Louis XIV was also known as the "Sun King" as much of the palace is accented in real gold. Outside of the expansive and opulently decorated palace is the Garden. As most palatial gardens were, the Gardens at Versailles were structured and manicured to be trim and perfect. They are beautiful though, and the layout is simply breathtaking. This tapestry depicts the gardens very well.
This wall hanging is woven in France from a cotton and viscose blend. It comes backed with a lining and a tunnel for easy hanging.
