Daillon was the officer and advisor to King Charles, the VIII and he played an important role in the battle of Orleans.
The original tapestry was made in Flanders and is now kept at the Montecute House in Somerset, Great Britain.
The detail is exquisite, which can be seen by the mille fleurs (million flowers) background. This tapestry is woven in France from a 50% wool, 40% cotton blend. It comes backed with lining and a tunnel for easy hanging.
Le Chevalier comes in three sizes: 38 x 28 inches, 58 x 44 inches, and 78 x 58 inches.
