This wall tapestry was originally woven in Bruges (Belgium) for Paolo Giovio, this tapestry shows the specific elements of " La Verdure du franc de Bruges".
It was woven by Antoon Segon, between 1528 and 1530, on a blue background covered with flowers and leaves. The streamer around the crown of foliage is the devise of Paolo Giovio.
This tapestry is imported from Belgium. Belgian tapestries are known for their detailed designs and brilliant stitching.
