Delft Tiles is an enticing tapestry that has been hand woven in North America. To the ordinary onlooker it seems a large spread at home, or those during the feasting seasons. Bottles of wine and champagne indicate revelry and celebration. One is amazed at the detailed weaving where no room is spared to indicate a lavish spread.
Inspired by the artwork of Raymond Campbell, the work has a rustic feel to it. The use of colors is understated to give a reality check to the work. Half done wine glasses, peeled fruits and opened bottles all give the feel of a feast, well on its way. The tapestry is provided with a lining at the back and a tunnel for easy hanging. You could place this wall hanging on your dining room wall for a sense of the appetizing feel or even grace the kitchen area to synchronize the food factor!
The tapestry has been given a backdrop of pastel colors with wallpaper like finish or even a table linen quality that indicates at the food that has been served on a spread. A cotton and viscose blend, this tapestry has a feel good factor about it, a reminder of the good times.
