“Aurore” is a French word meaning dawn. The tapestry has an aesthetic appeal and its serene beauty gives you pleasure and peace. It is a fantastic accessory for home décor and best fitted in your living room or anywhere which requires grand decoration.
The idea of the picture has been taken from a painting of the famous painter and architect Charles Louis Genuys, painted in 1884.At that time he was a professor of the Art School of Limoges. This painting represents the three French schools of decorative art, Paris, Limoges and Aubusson at that time combining together. In this picture a woman, with a full bloom of youth and beauty, is seen plucking flower in a garden at dawn. A heavenly pleasure reflects in her face. As it is the picture of a dawn, soft and mild colors have been used. Thus the tapestry is also very pleasing to the eyes.
“Aurore” is an excellent example of Belgian collection of woven art, which are well known for their aesthetic appeal. This tapestry is a make from a blend of 70% cotton 30% viscose. By the use of a tunnel it can be hung easily.
Aurore comes in two sizes to choose from: H 44 x W 26 and H 87 x W 55 inches.
