This jacquard woven tapestry is one of the six tapestries in the TRIUMPH OF APOLLO series. It depicts Apollo surrounded by Muses, taking rest on Helicon with representatives of history and literature. The painting exudes a sense of soft carefree fluidity and is gentle on the eyes imparting an effect of tranquil calm. It owes its genesis in the Leyniers workshop where Barend Van Orley, designed it with assistance from Augustin Coppens, in the early part of the 18th century.

The tapestry comes lined with tunnel to facilitate easy hanging and comes in two sizes for you choose from: 49 x 39, 83 x 67, or 98 x 78 inches.
