This tapestry is based on Les Tentures by the French artist, Francois Boucher.
The original tapestry were woven at the Royal Manufacture of Gobelins from 1765. The romantic scene captured inside the medallion features innocent outdoor entertainment in the 18th century. This charming composition is set against a beige damask background, called alentour and is gracefully adorned with flowery garlands and ribbons.Woven in France, this tapestry is composed of 95% cotton and 5% viscose materials. It comes backed with lining and a tunnel for easy hanging.
Medallion XVIII is available in two sizes for you to choose from.
