This tapestry was woven in the workshops of Morris and Company from 1890-1895 after a set of large tapestry drawings by William Morris and Edward Burne-Jones.

The sets of tapestries depict the quest of the Holy Grail. These pieces are thought to be a major piece of art throughout the Victorian Era.

In this particular panel, the Knights of the Round Table are on horseback about to depart, and saying their farewells to the ladies of Camelot. This classic image is surrounded by a beautiful leafy border, which frames the tapestry nicely.
